Lower Limb and Foot pain and is extremely common. Foot pain can be sourced from local structures such as muscles, ligaments, bones and joints. It can also be referred from other sources including your lower back (See Sciatica).
Causes of Lower Limb and Foot Pain
- Poor footwear
- Poor Running biomechanics/Technique
- Muscle imbalances
- Previous injury
- Lower back referral
It is important for any lower limb or foot pain to be addressed promptly.
Continued dysfunction may lead to pathology such as:
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Achilles Tendinopathy
